Partial A proxy that issues per-app stand-in keys with budgets, endpoint allowlists, and alerts is a standard gateway pattern that is buildable. Making it secure enough to hold real keys requires careful security engineering that vibe coding does not reliably deliver.
What it would actually take: Build a reverse proxy (for example in Go or Node) that issues scoped tokens, enforces per-key spend and rate limits by parsing provider usage responses, and stores real keys in an encrypted vault (KMS or Vault). Hard parts are the security model (key storage, token-replay resistance, tenant isolation) and accurate per-provider cost accounting. This needs a security-focused engineer and an external audit before anyone trusts it with production keys.
