What it would actually take: Use barcode libraries (bwip-js, zint, or pdf-lib plus encoders) that implement GS1-128, DataMatrix, and EAN/UPC encoding. Layout templates for Avery sheets are fixed dimensions. Validate check digits against GS1 rules and test prints on real printers. Checking GTIN validity against the GS1 registry requires a license, but the generator itself does not.
