Could you build this?
No A USB-C LTE modem that gives a computer a phone line is a hardware product. It needs RF design, cellular certification, and firmware, which vibe coding cannot substitute for.
What it would actually take: Building a real version requires an LTE modem chipset (e.g., Quectel or Sierra Wireless), RF and antenna design, USB-C interface hardware, and carrier-certified firmware. It also needs FCC/CE certification and SIM and carrier integration. Hardware engineering and regulatory expertise are essential.

Feature requests: Cellular modem and SIM slot in MacBook, Native VoLTE support on board, Free 911 over cellular
