Could you build this?
No This is a novel ML research concept (emulating a console with neural network weights) that vibe coding cannot produce.
What it would actually take: Running a NES-style system inside model weights is a novel research demo, not a standard app. It would need ML research expertise to train or fine-tune a model to emulate deterministic hardware behavior reliably.
Discussion
20 comments analyzed.
Competitors mentioned: vibeOS, herdr, Claude CLI, Gherkin
Concerns raised: LLM emulation is hundreds of times slower, Hallucinated OS would be unusable, Generating valid instructions would be hard, Vibe-coded systems are a security risk
Feature requests: LLMs with fixed-function blocks or symbolic execution engine
