About
Read the full description
Melt keeps your recent Mac screenshots and screen recordings in a menu bar tray. Drag a capture into any app, copy it, share it, show it in Finder, or pin it. If you turn on automatic cleanup, unpinned captures move to the system Trash after 1, 7 or 30 days, so the Desktop stops filling up. It works on your original files, fully on your Mac. No account, no subscription. Launch price $2.99, normally $4.99.

Could you build this?
Yes A macOS menu bar utility that watches the screenshot folder, shows a tray of recent captures, and moves old files to Trash on a schedule. This is well-documented AppKit/Swift work that AI assistants handle reasonably well.
