Partial The lab platform is ordinary web work, but a real distribution needs Debian live-build, package curation, kernel and installer configuration, and ongoing security maintenance. Vibe coding covers the platform more easily than the distro engineering.
What it would actually take: The distro would be built with Debian's live-build or a similar tool on a customized package set, with an ISO and container/Kubernetes lab images layered on top. The hard parts are packaging, release engineering, and security patching over time, which call for an experienced Linux distribution maintainer.
