Description
Hi,I've made a Dis virtual machine and Limbo programming language compiler (called RiceVM) in Rust. It can run Dis bytecode (for example, Inferno OS applications), compile Limbo programs, and includes a fairly complete runtime with garbage collection, concurrency features, and many of the standard modules from Inferno OS's original implementation. The project is still in an early stage, but if you're interested in learning more about RiceVM or trying it out, you can check out the links below:Project's GitHub repo: https://github.com/habedi/ricevmRiceVM documentation: https://habedi.github.io/ricevm/

Could you build this?
No Developing a custom virtual machine (Dis) and a language compiler (Limbo) from scratch in Rust requires deep systems programming, formal compiler design, custom garbage collection, and runtime scheduling expertise.
What it would actually take: The project requires an AST-to-bytecode compiler, Dis bytecode interpreter/JIT runtime, cooperative multitasking scheduler, and memory-managed heap implemented in Rust. You need deep knowledge of the Inferno OS/Dis architecture specification, language grammars, and low-level concurrency paradigms.
