Could you build this?

Partial A VPN client app is buildable by forking open-source cores like sing-box or Xray. The real difficulty is running server infrastructure in the region and evading active censorship, which requires networking and anti-DPI expertise.

What it would actually take: Start from open-source VPN cores (sing-box, Xray) with an Android client, then deploy servers across multiple providers and regions with automated testing for the Smart Connect logic. The hard part is keeping protocols working as censors adapt, which requires network engineers who understand traffic obfuscation and deep packet inspection, plus ongoing server operations.
