Optional MCP access for your own AI agent. It is a personal research project for education and has not been clinically validated. Partial Linked multi-plane DICOM/NIfTI viewing is buildable with existing parsing libraries, but accurate handling of vendor-specific DICOM variants and quality 3D rendering take more than prompting.
What it would actually take: Use an existing medical imaging parser (pydicom, dcmtk, nibabel) and a WebGL or VTK-based renderer for linked axial, coronal and sagittal views. The hard parts are correct orientation, spacing and windowing across scanner vendors, plus performant volume rendering. Validating measurements would require someone with medical imaging knowledge, and clinical use would need regulatory clearance.
