Read the full description

Developers often mess up CLI commands, larding the terminal with ugly error spam. Running `clear` or `Ctrl+L` wipes out vital context, file logs, and screen layout, causing annoying context switching. Term-Undo fixes this with a simple `Alt+U` shortcut. It instantly reverts command errors and typos without destroying your active workspace or session history. Keep learning, test freely, and maintain a crystal-clear terminal!

Could you build this?

Partial The Alt+U keybinding and screen restoration can be built with shell hooks, but truly reverting arbitrary command side effects (file changes, network calls) is a hard systems problem.

What it would actually take: A shell integration (zsh/bash hooks) plus a terminal wrapper could capture the screen buffer and restore it on demand, which covers the cosmetic part. Reverting real effects needs filesystem snapshotting or copy-on-write tracking, such as overlay filesystems or ZFS/btrfs snapshots, and it cannot undo network or database actions. This requires systems programming expertise in shells, PTYs, and filesystems.
