No A desktop OS for Apple A-series devices requires bootloader, kernel, and hardware driver work, which needs deep low-level systems and hardware expertise.
What it would actually take: A real version requires porting a Linux kernel to Apple silicon, which means writing or adapting drivers for the GPU, display, storage, and power management, and dealing with Apple's boot chain. Most of this depends on reverse-engineered hardware documentation from projects like Asahi Linux. This is a multi-year effort requiring kernel and hardware reverse-engineering expertise.
