Could you build this?

Partial The game UI and bullet-hole overlay are easy to build, but reliably detecting a laser dot on a monitor from a webcam is a computer-vision problem that needs calibration and tuning to work well.

What it would actually take: A real version needs webcam capture, a homography or calibration step to map the monitor plane, and a detector that finds the laser spot under varying lighting and frame rates, which OpenCV can support. The hard part is achieving low false-positive and false-negative rates in real rooms, which requires CV experience and extensive field testing. Frame timing and camera latency also need specialized handling.
