Description

Built this after getting tired of fighting local AI setup (CUDA issues, dependencies, API configs). Goal was to make something that just runs locally without all the overhead. Happy to answer questions or get feedback.

Could you build this?

Partial Wrapping an LLM runtime in an Electron/desktop GUI is easy, but bundling native cross-platform llama.cpp/GGUF inference engines with automated hardware detection (Vulkan, Metal, CUDA) without user setup is notoriously difficult.

What it would actually take: The desktop client (C++ or Rust with a frontend like Tauri or Qt) must bundle pre-compiled llama.cpp shared libraries dynamically linked against multiple backend drivers (CUDA, ROCm, Vulkan, DirectML, and Metal). The core challenge is zero-configuration driver detection, memory management to avoid crashing host systems, and distributing large binary runtimes through standard app packaging/Steam pipelines without requiring system-level CUDA toolkits.

Nobody's really built a agent / copilot tool for Agriculture yet.
