Partial The animated desktop companion and voice assistant are buildable with standard tools. Reliable OS-level PC control on both Windows and Mac, plus phone-based locking and Android device finding, requires platform-specific system work that vibe coding handles poorly.
What it would actually take: This would need an Electron or native app for each OS, using accessibility APIs and automation hooks (AppleScript, UI Automation) for app control, a voice pipeline (speech-to-text, LLM, TTS), and a companion mobile app with a backend for remote lock and device-location features. The difficult parts are the OS permission and security model, code signing and notarization, and the Android Find My Device integration. This requires experience with desktop systems programming and mobile platform APIs.
