Most AI assistants live in a chat box. Lida lives on your screen. It's a Windows desktop companion you talk to out loud: it sees the app you're in and answers by voice. Say "show me how" and it points at the exact button. Say "teach me" and it draws the idea on a live board beside your work. Say "do it" and it takes the steps while you watch, asking before anything risky. Its overlay stays hidden from screen recordings, and it only remembers what you approve.

Partial The voice interface and LLM answers are vibe-codeable, but reliably seeing the user's screen and pinpointing UI elements to draw overlays is a harder computer-vision and accessibility-API problem.
What it would actually take: Combine speech-to-text and text-to-speech with a multimodal LLM that receives screenshots, plus a transparent overlay window to draw pointers and a whiteboard beside the user's work. Pointing accuracy depends on UI element grounding, ideally using Windows UI Automation for element positions where available and vision models otherwise. The hard parts are reliable grounding across arbitrary apps and low-latency voice, which need computer-vision and systems expertise.
