Read the full description
Plug a Windows or Linux drive into your Mac and use it in Finder: read and write NTFS, ext4, Btrfs and XFS, with no drivers to install. New: back up folders to an external drive, a NAS or several clouds, every night or when a drive is attached, keeping old versions and checking every copy. It also shows which part of the USB-C chain (port, cable, enclosure, drive) slows a drive down, and cleans up your Mac, drives and cloud storage. One-time purchase, no subscription.

No The core value is read-write support for NTFS, ext4, Btrfs and XFS on macOS, which means filesystem drivers that must be reliable enough not to corrupt user data. The backup feature is standard, but the filesystem layer is specialist systems work.
What it would actually take: A real version needs a macOS filesystem module (FSKit or a user-space equivalent) written against each filesystem's on-disk format, with careful kernel-facing code and extensive testing against corruption. The hard parts are that low-level I/O layer and the data-integrity testing, which call for experienced filesystem and macOS systems engineers. The backup scheduler and UI can be vibe-coded on top.
