Could you build this?

Partial The editor, LaTeX and D3 rendering, and themes are doable with web libraries, but high-fidelity PowerPoint import and export and TikZ rendering are tricky to get right.

What it would actually take: Build a web app with an infinite canvas (for example tldraw or Konva), KaTeX for equations, and a JavaScript or WASM TikZ renderer, with D3 embedded as slide components. PowerPoint round-tripping requires parsing and writing the OOXML (.pptx) format, which is lossy for layout and animations and takes careful format work. Matching the export fidelity of PowerPoint is the difficult part.
