Could you build this?
Partial The launcher UI and app launching are simple, but fast indexing of files across every drive and Windows settings search requires low-level Windows and NTFS knowledge. Matching the performance claim is hard for vibe coding alone.
What it would actually take: Use Rust with the Win32 API, reading the NTFS Master File Table for near-instant file indexing and maintaining a fuzzy-search index in memory. Keeping it fast and light means profiling, careful handling of USN journal updates, and sensible UI latency. A solo builder with systems programming experience can do it, but AI assistance alone will struggle with the indexing internals and edge cases.
