Podkstr is a podcast studio that runs in the browser, from recording to release. Each speaker is recorded on a separate track at 48 kHz. Guests join with a link, with no account and no install, and listeners can follow a live show with a chat. Every track is denoised, cleaned of reverb and levelled to the standard Spotify and Apple follow. The multitrack editor adds eleven effects per track and a master bus. Transcript, chapters and show notes come out ready to edit, and episodes go out by RSS.

Could you build this?

Partial The browser recording, guest links, and episode publishing flow are buildable with WebRTC and standard web tooling, but studio-quality multitrack capture and denoising/dereverb require audio DSP or ML expertise.

What it would actually take: Use WebRTC for per-speaker 48 kHz capture with a server-side recorder (e.g., LiveKit or similar) and an audio processing pipeline using existing denoise and dereverb models (e.g., RNNoise or DeepFilterNet). The hard parts are reliable multi-track sync and low-latency SFU infrastructure at scale, plus tuning audio quality.
