Could you build this?

Partial The native macOS UI, map view, and proximity logic are vibe-codeable. Real-time and historical flight data, however, requires an ADS-B feed from a receiver or a paid aircraft-data API, which the builder must obtain and license.

What it would actually take: Build a native macOS app (SwiftUI with MapKit) that polls an aircraft-state feed, computes geodesic distance and bearing to the user's location, and displays nearby flights with an animated radar. Historical replay needs stored track data. The hard parts are the data sources: either a local ADS-B receiver (SDR hardware plus decoder software) or licensed APIs such as FlightAware or ADS-B Exchange, plus storage and licensing for historical tracks.
