Partial The plugin UI and workflow can be scaffolded with AI help, but making SAM-based selection, inpainting, and DNG write-back work reliably requires ML inference and RAW-format expertise.
What it would actually take: A real version needs a local GPU inference pipeline running SAM 3 for segmentation and LaMa, SDXL, or FLUX for fills, plus integration with LightCraft's plugin or host API. Writing edits back into RAW DNG without corrupting metadata or color data demands knowledge of the DNG spec and image pipelines. Tuning model memory use and latency on consumer GPUs is the main hard part.
