Partial The UI and file-transfer logic for a KDE client are buildable, but interoperability with Google's Quick Share protocol needs protocol-level reverse engineering and cryptographic handshake work.
What it would actually take: A real client implements Quick Share's discovery (mDNS and BLE advertisement), the UKEY2 key exchange, and the protobuf-based transfer protocol, then runs over Wi-Fi LAN or Bluetooth. The hard part is correctly reproducing the undocumented handshake and crypto, which requires protocol reverse engineering, networking, and security expertise, typically in C++ or Rust with Qt or KDE frameworks.
