Portsviews draws the live positions that ships broadcast over public radio (AIS) onto any screen or projector: hull shapes by vessel type, a wake behind each ship, the largest ones named, over a real coastline. It's made to stay on all day, on a wall or bounced off a mirror onto a ceiling. Free and MIT-licensed, with no account and no subscription. Bring a free AISstream.io key and it runs in about ten minutes. Four built-in areas (Dover, Marmara, Port Said, Sydney), or map your own water.
