What it would actually take: Build a client-side pipeline with PDF.js or a similar parser, falling back to OCR (Tesseract or a commercial engine) for scans, then a template or ML layer that maps rows to transactions. QBO and XLSX writers are well documented. The real work is a large corpus of real bank statement samples and per-bank parsing rules, plus rigorous test fixtures to guarantee zero discrepancies.
