What it would actually take: A real version would require an ARM CPU emulator (such as Unicorn or a custom core) that boots the Hydrasynth firmware, emulated peripherals for its displays, ADCs, and MIDI, and a real-time audio plugin wrapper in JUCE or a similar framework. The hard part is reverse engineering the firmware's hardware interface, which takes embedded systems and reverse-engineering expertise.
