Partial The UI and note-generation pipeline are buildable, but a strong local version needs real-time speech recognition with good speaker diarization on-device, which is harder than wrapping an API.
What it would actually take: A native macOS app can be assembled with Swift and whisper.cpp or an ASR model, plus an LLM for summaries. The difficult parts are accurate low-latency diarization and tuning ASR for multilingual meetings, which take audio/ML engineering experience. Packaging and performance tuning on Apple silicon also add work.
