Could you build this?

Partial The UI is buildable, but a real framework needs a layout engine with cascade, flex and grid, and incremental rendering inside Emacs Lisp. Those are substantial pieces that vibe coding alone won't reliably produce.

What it would actually take: A real version would be an Emacs Lisp library that builds a DOM-like component tree, computes CSS cascade and box/flex/grid layout over character cells, and diffs the output to update only changed regions. The layout and incremental-rendering core is the hard part and requires solid understanding of Emacs display internals and layout algorithms. The applications and games built on top are comparatively straightforward.
