Read the full description

easl is the board that your agents build on. Agents, and humans, can create tiles: full webkit browsers, any file from your codebase, custom tldraw style drawing elements, html tiles, markdown notes, terminals and more. Your agents run unmodified inside of the terminals on the board, and you can point and click ANYTHING on the board to refrence it in your next prompt. As we parallelize more agentic work, the burden becomes the interface that we use to stay productive. Chat transcripts are dead.

Could you build this?

Partial The infinite canvas UI can be assembled using libraries like tldraw, but orchestrating secure, sandboxed WebKit browsers and arbitrary agent terminal execution inside canvas tiles requires complex infrastructure.

What it would actually take: A production version would require an interactive canvas frontend (React + tldraw/Fabric.js) connected via WebSockets to a container orchestration backend (e.g., Docker/Firecracker microVMs). The hard part is securely running arbitrary agent CLI processes, interactive PTYs (via node-pty/xterm.js), and sandboxed browser sessions (Chromium/WebKit headless streams via WebRTC/VNC) with ultra-low latency. It demands specialized systems engineering and cloud sandboxing expertise.
