Read the full description

Wire a circuit on a breadboard, write the C++, press Run. Mokxi simulates an Arduino Uno, ESP32, Raspberry Pi Pico or STM32 in real time, right in your browser, with nothing to install. Every board and part is free. Circuit Doctor spots wiring mistakes before you fry a real part, and teachers get free lessons, classes, login cards and automatic checks. When it works, send the same sketch to a real board.

Could you build this?

Partial The breadboard UI, code editor, and Circuit Doctor rules are buildable with web tooling. Real-time cycle-accurate emulation of AVR, ESP32, RP2040, and STM32 cores is a hard, specialized engineering problem.

What it would actually take: Use WebAssembly-based emulator cores (for example avr8js, rp2040js, or QEMU compiled to WASM) for the MCUs, plus a Wokwi-style browser circuit simulator and an in-browser compiler such as clang-to-WASM. The hard parts are accurate peripheral and timing emulation for each chip family and the compile-and-run pipeline. That takes embedded systems and emulator expertise, though much of it can be reused from open-source projects.
