The problem: when a LeetCode solution fails, you're left staring at code and guessing what line 14 did. Print statements only get you so far, and a recursion call stack is basically invisible. ā–Ŗļø Step through code, line by line, forwards and backwards. ā–Ŗļø Watch data structures such as arrays, grids, trees, linked lists and graphs come alive. ā–Ŗļø Supports Python, C++ and Java.

Could you build this?

Partial Building the UI with tree and array visualizations is easy, but securely executing arbitrary user code server-side while tracking variable mutations and call stacks frame-by-frame requires advanced sandboxing and AST instrumentation.

What it would actually take: This requires an isolated code execution environment (e.g., Docker/gVisor sandboxes) instrumented with AST rewriters (Babel for JS, Python AST/trace module) to emit execution trace events at every step. The primary technical difficulty is reliably parsing and step-debugging arbitrary algorithms across multiple languages safely at sub-second latency without DOSing infrastructure.
