Could you build this?
Partial Building customizable widgets around the macOS notch requires extensive AppKit/CoreGraphics plumbing to float transparent, persistent non-activating panels across spaces and handle media/system APIs.
What it would actually take: Built with Swift/AppKit using NSPanel with specific window levels and sharing properties across spaces, combined with CoreGraphics/ScreenCaptureKit for screen awareness. Hard parts involve robust integration with 60+ external/system APIs (NowPlaying, calendar, system stats) and smooth multi-display notch layout management.
