Hey HN, We've decided to open-source our Portable Secret. It's a free tool that generates self-contained HTML files which decrypt locally in your browser.Check it out at https://alcazarsec.github.io/portable-secret/. Source code: https://github.com/alcazarsec/portable-secretThe project is inspired by an old post (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=34083366) by mprimi, who coined the term "Portable Secret." I really liked the idea and wanted to improve the security of the KDF and the UX. I hope he's honored that so many people have iterated on it over the years.Let me know what you think.
