Could you build this?
Partial Capturing speech-to-text is simple via cloud APIs, but a desktop-level agent capable of cross-application UI automation and state monitoring requires complex native OS engineering.
What it would actually take: The system would require a native desktop wrapper (e.g., Rust/Tauri or Electron) integrating OS accessibility APIs (macOS Accessibility/Windows UI Automation) alongside low-latency streaming STT (Whisper/Deepgram). The hardest part is robust desktop GUI automation and intent parsing that reliably executes multi-step workflows across arbitrary third-party software. Deep systems programming and native OS API experience are essential.
