Description
Convalesce is building the self-healing layer for data infrastructure. When production data workflows fail, it reconstructs context across systems, identifies the root cause, determines the safest recovery action, and verifies that the workflow is healthy again. Starting with human-approved fixes, Convalesce will progressively automate recovery, with the long-term goal of becoming an autonomous data engineer that keeps production data systems running.

Could you build this?
No Automating root-cause analysis and automated healing across distributed enterprise data pipelines (Airflow, dbt, Spark, data warehouses) requires deep data engineering domain expertise, security models, and complex distributed system state tracking.
What it would actually take: Requires an agentic architecture integrated deep into data orchestrators (Airflow, Dagster), query logs (Snowflake, BigQuery), and metadata catalogs via telemetry collectors and eBPF/APIs. The engine needs a deterministic graph modeling execution DAGs, schema drift detectors, and sandboxed test environments to safely evaluate remediation actions prior to production application. Substantial systems engineering is required to guarantee zero accidental data corruption or catastrophic pipeline loops.
