Description

CI tools think in runs: one per merge, each an island. Pipemesh thinks in revisions: every merge moves through your pipeline job by job, so one live board always says what's deployed, what's waiting, and why. Newer work supersedes older. Jobs skip by fingerprint (files, definition, consumed artifacts), not path filters. Gates and rollbacks live in the pipeline. Jobs run on hosted runners, your own, or the GitHub Actions workflows you already have, and agents read the same state in one API call.

Could you build this?

Partial A CI/CD orchestrator board is conceptually straightforward, but a real superseding, revision-based CI engine requires deep VCS event handling, deterministic artifact caching, and robust distributed worker orchestration.

What it would actually take: The system requires an event-driven orchestration engine (e.g., Go/Rust backend with Temporal or Kafka) integrated deeply via GitHub/GitLab webhooks. The core challenge is implementing reliable directed acyclic graph (DAG) pipelines that support live dynamic job preemption (superseding outdated commits), content-addressable artifact fingerprinting (hashing source trees and dependency trees), and isolated container execution environments at scale.

Competitors

Other products that read as similar to this one — 75 launches clear the similarity bar, closest 8 shown.

Attention rank: #23 of 76 (itself plus its competitors, highest first — normalized so YC and Product Hunt are compared fairly).
