Description

WebForms Core is a server-orchestrated UI technology for building interactive HTML interfaces without React, Vue, Angular, JSX, or a separate frontend. The server sends lightweight commands that WebFormsJS executes directly on the HTML DOM. It is stateless, RESTful, HTML-native, and available for 18 web programming languages. WFC 2.2 introduces Render, Snapshot, and RollBack. Routing and UI infrastructure are automatic, so developers write simple server-side code.

Could you build this?

Partial While the architectural concept of server-driven UI over JSON or DOM updates is clear, engineering an idiomatic, battle-tested library specification cross-ported across 18 distinct programming languages is an enormous systems engineering task.

What it would actually take: The system consists of a lightweight vanilla JavaScript client running DOM patch operations driven by server command payloads, paired with 18 server-side SDK implementations across various ecosystems (Python, Go, Rust, Java, etc.). The difficult part is standardizing protocol semantics, state synchronization, edge-case DOM patching, and maintaining idiomatic SDK architectures across 18 runtime environments, which exceeds typical vibe-coding scope.
