Description

Appto is an iOS app factory for your Mac. It finds a niche where apps already make money, comes up with the app, designs and codes it, builds the App Store page with screenshots and ASO copy in every language, fills in App Store Connect and sends it to Apple when you say go. After launch it shows every sale live, answers reviews, tracks keywords and suggests fixes. It runs on your Claude Code or Codex plan, so there are no token bills. I'm not a developer and shipped 10 apps with it.

Could you build this?

No Automating end-to-end iOS app generation, compilation, automated UI screenshot captures across device resolutions, and automated App Store Connect publishing requires complex native toolchain orchestration and reverse-engineering Apple's strict review processes.

What it would actually take: Architecture requires an orchestration backend driving Xcode CLI (fastlane/xcodebuild) in a containerized macOS virtualization environment (e.g., Tart/MacStadium). It must generate valid Swift/SwiftUI ASTs, handle code signing, provisioning profiles, asset catalogs, and App Store Connect API interactions. The core difficulty is ensuring AI-generated Swift projects consistently compile, pass Apple App Review static checks, and execute cleanly on native runtimes.

{# Ad rails are position:fixed (see app.css's .sponsor-rail), so moving them after
in source order is purely cosmetic for the DOM -- visually they stay pinned left/right exactly as before. Put here so a linear text reader (an automated site-verification crawler, a screen reader, a search engine) hits the real page content first instead of a wall of repeated "Open slot" ad-placeholder filler before ever reaching a sentence about what Nicheloom is. #}
