Description

drip is a free, open-source CLI that estimates the water your AI coding agents use. It reads Claude Code and Codex CLI logs locally, counts tokens exactly and shows water per session and per day: a live meter in the Claude Code status line, a split-pane meter beside Codex or any agent, and a breakdown page with per-model numbers. Coefficients come from peer-reviewed research, every source is linked, and it always shows a low/mid/high range. Local-only, MIT, no dependencies.

Could you build this?

Yes It is a simple CLI tool that parses local log files for token counts, multiplies by a constant water consumption factor, and renders a terminal UI.
