Description

Norba.io is a REST API for searching, pricing and booking flights directly with airlines over IATA NDC, without a GDS in the middle. Each airline implements NDC its own way: different versions, auth and errors. We deal with that and give you one JSON format for search, seats, bags, booking, changes and refunds. The sandbox is free and you get an API key in 90 seconds. Redeem code PH-LAUNCH-100 in Billing for €100 of credit.

Could you build this?

No Direct IATA NDC airline integration requires extensive travel industry certifications, IATA accreditation, negotiating bilateral agreements with individual airlines, and managing complex airline inventory protocols.

What it would actually take: A functional direct NDC aggregator requires IATA accreditation, formal partnership and certification testing with each individual airline's NDC API endpoint, PCI-DSS Level 1 compliance for ticketing payments, and complex stateful booking engines that handle PNRs, E-tickets, and airline schedule changes. The technical architecture involves distributed messaging queues, robust XML/SOAP/JSON normalization layers, and high-availability financial transaction systems.
