Description
I built Read Fast after realising I was saving hundreds of things to read and reading almost none of them.It automatically turns saved content into a scheduled briefing and sends it to my inbox at whatever time I choose.New version since last post actually allows you to bulk upload URLs. So you can just dump links here and Read Fast will scrape and brief for you.Great for actually reading the things I want to. Curious if that resonates with people?

Could you build this?
Yes A read-it-later aggregator that scrapes web pages, summarizes them using an LLM API, and delivers an email digest on a schedule is a classic vibe-coding project.

Competitors mentioned: Discord bots for link parsing and content archiving, PDF exporters for offline reading
Concerns raised: AI summaries miss nuances and good writing that humans intuitively understand, Information retention better from original content than summaries, Risk of recursive summarization leading to loss of substance, Summaries alone may not be sufficient for learning new concepts
Feature requests: Side-by-side view of original content while reading briefing, Printable PDF format for offline reading, Quality metrics and insights extraction from archived content, Support for multiple content types (GitHub repos, tweets, blog posts, PDFs)
