Description

Answer the question "Before I die, I want to..." and post it to the wall.I built this as part of a journaling app I’m working on as a side project. Personally I find life goals fascinating - they're the things we think will make us feel the happiest and the most fulfilled, yet often people think they won't achieve them.I have tried to make it feel atmospheric with the goal of making you stop and think about your own life for a second.

Could you build this?

Yes This is a straightforward submission wall and journaling frontend with a database backend (like Supabase or Firebase) to store and display text entries.

Discussion

10 comments analyzed.

Concerns raised: Animations are resource intensive, causing frame rate drops, Scrolling on the site is broken/janky

Feature requests: Archive posts to Internet Archive for long-term storage, Show posts chronologically (latest) rather than random, Focus on regrets/lack of courage theme over generic life goals

Looks like the first mover among its competitors.
