Hi HN! We were trying to have our team adopt AI more and had the idea for "AI Bingo" - hands-on, mini challenges that resulted in something delightful and real.Our team members were obsessed, they were saying it was "weirdly addictive." People made AI-generated ASMR videos, n8n automations, games. Our email marketer built an Electron app using Claude Code.We were stunned - people were learning by doing AND having fun. So, we've spent the last few weeks building Made That, where anyone can do the same challenges and see other people's submissions.A lot of people feel a lot of existential angst about AI as we're all seeing layoffs left and right, but they don't know where to start. Wanted to add a bit of fun (and competitiveness) to something that feels stressful.There's still a lot we can do to make it better, but wanted to open up discussion here and get feedback about the format, challenges, if it feels fun.
