Hi HN,I’m Billy, co-founder of ChatterBooth. It’s an anonymous app where people can talk or chat freely without judgment.The idea came in 2020 when one of my co-founders wanted to share about his mom’s cancer recovery but couldn’t. It made us realize how hard it is to open up online. Finally, we released the app earlier this year. We’ve also noticed people venting to AI chatbots just to be heard, but AI doesn’t really get you. ChatterBooth is for real human connection, even if it’s anonymous.In the future, if there’s enough traction, we want to reward people as Conversation Starters or Accommodating Strangers — small gestures to encourage connection.We launched on the iOS App Store in 23 countries across North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific and have a few hundred downloads so far.
