Could you build this?
Partial While building a standard Model Context Protocol (MCP) server wrapper is straightforward, automating Serif Affinity apps requires reverse-engineering private desktop IPC/scripting or low-level accessibility APIs.
What it would actually take: The architecture would consist of a TypeScript/Python MCP server interfacing with the local OS via AppleScript/JXA, Windows UI Automation, or synthetic input events to interact with Serif Affinity software, which lacks a public native plugin/scripting API. The primary hurdle is reliably driving proprietary canvas applications that do not expose formal programmatic hooks without breaking sync or state.
