Description

Turns out it's weirdly hard to quickly check cpu temp on M series macs so whipped this up, also has cpu usage, memory, and lets you show multiple or just an icon for the popover.

Could you build this?

Partial Creating the menu bar UI in SwiftUI is straightforward, but reading Apple Silicon internal SoC temperature sensors requires calling undocumented IOKit/SMC C-APIs.

What it would actually take: Requires bridging Swift with Zig/C to invoke private Apple Silicon IOHID / SMC (AppleSMC / HIDServiceClient) kernel APIs to locate undocumented temperature keys (like 'Tp09', 'Tg05'). The challenging part is deciphering Apple's proprietary thermal and power management registers across different M-series chip generations without official documentation.
