Description

Optiway Web Dispatch is the browser side of Optiway: plan a day of deliveries, optimize multi-stop routes in one click and split them across drivers, then send everything to the free driver app. Time windows, stop priorities, per-stop ETAs, live tracking and proof of delivery are standard, and you can re-optimize mid-day. The difference is the pricing model: every plan, including the free one, carries unlimited drivers and dispatchers. You pay for the stops you plan, never per seat.

Could you build this?

Partial The web dispatch portal and companion mobile app are standard full-stack components, but production-grade Vehicle Routing Problem (VRP) optimization with dynamic time windows, capacity constraints, and live traffic ETAs requires specialized optimization solvers.

What it would actually take: The architecture requires a web dashboard (Next.js), a mobile app for drivers (React Native/Flutter), and a routing engine. While one can initially wrap third-party APIs (like Mapbox Optimization API or Google Maps Platform), building a multi-vehicle dispatcher that scales involves operations research solvers (such as Google OR-Tools or VROOM/OSRM) running on dedicated compute. Fine-tuning constraint logic (driver shifts, vehicle weight/volume, priority windows) and handling real-time recalculations on network disconnects is the primary engineering bottleneck.
